Our brief in this was very clear from our client. Create a traditional family home for a stunning rural location overlooking the beautiful Binevenagh mountain in Limavady. The stone front elevation evokes a sense of privacy and place leading directly to the country road. The locally sourced stone is a tribute to the buildings siting. Once through the large timber gates the building naturally lightens up, both in materiality and scale. The stonework gives way to bright render and larger openings to the rear afford views to the countryside behind.

Internally a very simplistic layout ensures a cheaper build cost with value engineering forefront in our thoughts throughout the design period.
